YM/YW Combined Activity Tonight

The YM/YW combined activity tonight has changed from Ice Skating to Outdoor Games.  We will meet at the Sunset Valley Elementary School in the West Fork Ranch neighborhood.  2032 Canchim St. Fort Worth, TX 76131.  Bundle up as we will be playing games outside in the low 40's.

YM/YW Combined Activity next week: Christmas Caroling! December 12th @ 6:15 at the Saginaw HS south parking lot. Permission slips are needed. Bring a baked good as a gift for the residents and staff at The Harrison at Heritage.

YM/YW Combined Activity 11/14/18

This week is a combined activity at Topgolf Fort Worth.  We have reserved 3 hitting bays with unlimited soft drinks for the youth.  The hitting bays are climate controlled so we won't be out in the elements.  It is going to be a really fun night!  We are meeting at the Kroger parking lot at 6:15pm to head over there.

Mountain Man Rendezvous 2017

Mountain Man Rendezvous Registration

Registration is open through December 15th
Who: Scouters ages 14 and up.
Cost: $35 before November 14th. $45 after (Food is not provided)

This is a first registered first served event with only 150 slots.

6/7/2017 Mutual - Swim Checks

This Wednesday, June 7th, the crew will be meeting at the Bar C Ranch pool located at 8325 Comanche Springs Dr, Fort Worth, TX to do swim checks for high adventure planned for June 15th thru the 17th. If your son is not planning on attending high adventure they are still welcome to come and spend an hour swimming at the pool. The swim checks should not take too long and will consist of the following:

• Jump feet first into the water.
• Swim 75 yards in a strong manner using one or more of the following strokes: side, breast, or crawl.
• Swim 25 yards using an easy, resting backstroke.
• The 100 yards must be completed without stops and must include at least one sharp turn.

This will not be an official BSA swim check due to the lack of an official life guard not being present but will serve as a baseline for the adults to know and understand the capabilities of everyone attending high adventure.
